The Expater has nearly 20,000 monthly visits and a domain authority of 26. My readership is focused on smart, curious and intrepid woman from all over the globe.
I write on a freelance basis about all things expat lifestyle.
I focus a lot on mental wellbeing, writing about self identity, self purpose, stress, anxiety and motivation. I also spent many happy years living in Chile, Belgium and Switzerland and consider myself an expert on these destinations in particular. Finally, I’m mother to three children, each born in a different country, and I can offer the perspective of parenting abroad, too.
I’ve been featured in or have written for publications including: the Telegraph online, Psychologies magazine, MarieClaire.fr, Forbes Africa, and Life Goals magazine, as well as organisations including InterNations and The Expat Woman.

If your product or service fits with The Expater, some ways of working together include:
- sponsored posts, including product reviews, interviews & round ups
- affiliate programs
- social media campaigns / competitions
All posts which contain sponsored material or items that have been gifted to me are clearly labelled and use ‘no follow’ links. All words and opinions are my own. I don’t offer advertising.
I also support brands via:
- content creation – I write blog posts, newsletters & other content for websites
- consultancy – I support brands’ community strategy through a tailor-made consultancy service

If you’re an expat, lifestyle or travel blogger, or just really know your neighbourhood you can use the contact form below for a blog collaboration or interview. Here’s an example of an interview I did with an expat lifestyle blogger in Bahrain.
I only feature original content which is relevant to my core readership — smart, mature and curious international women.
