What’s the best country to emigrate to right now? This is a question I’ve been asking myself a lot lately.
Fear not, Chile based amigos, I’m not leaving my beloved Santiago anytime soon. As some of you know, my first job is mother, my second is blogger and in my ‘spare time’ (yeah… right) I’m a freelance journalist. I’m currently researching the best places to emigrate to for a British online newspaper.

Lots of the statistics out there miss the mark. I’d love to hear from you about the best places you’ve ever moved to.
Some places make great holiday destinations, but the reality of life there is very different. Some places sound a bit blah, but scratch the surface and a whole new world beckons.
A friend of mine raves about Johannesburg for its family life. Another goes on and on about Koh Samui. And I hear Bahrain is simply fabulous for expats.
